Dubai, UAE – The 2nd International AYUSH Conference & Expo, a collaborative effort by the Ministry of AYUSH and the Government of UAE, unfolded at the Sheikh Maktoum Hall in the Dubai World Trade Centre from January 13 to 15, 2024. This three-day event brought together 75 companies, government bodies, and small-scale organizations, marking the region's largest gathering focused on AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy).
The primary objective of the expo was to promote AYUSH and provide a platform for companies to access the UAE/Dubai markets. This international trade show served as a B2B platform, allowing companies to showcase and source products, network with potential partners, and explore business opportunities in the UAE region.
The event was inaugurated by Shri. Sarbananda Sonowal, Honorable Minister for AUYSH, Government of India, and Shri V. Muraleedharan, Honorable Minister of State for External Affairs, Government of India.
Among the exhibitors, Pravek took center stage at Stall No. H-4, holding the Silver Sponsor category. Our stall, strategically positioned near the main entrance gate, garnered attention as it showcased an AYUSH certified product range and single herbs. Notable staff members, including Mr. A. K Sharma (Sales Head), Mr. Sukanta Baul (Product Training Manager), and Mr. Arijeet Bhattacharjee (Marketing Manager), were present to engage with attendees.
Pravek Kalp presented an impressive display of AYUSH Premium Products, especially an extensive range of single herb capsules.
During the expo, research papers were presented, attracting attentive listeners. The hall, divided into two parts on the ground floor, hosted over 500 doctors during the Inauguration Ceremony. Approximately 5,500 Ayurvedic doctors and over 200 doctors and traders visited Pravek Kalp's stall, representing diverse regions including Europe, Malaysia, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Germany, and Russia.
The 2nd International AYUSH Conference & Expo proved to be a resounding success, creating a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, product showcase, and networking within the AYUSH community. The quality of attendees, with a significant presence of doctors and practitioners from various countries, underscored the global significance of AYUSH practices.
